Sally Putan
Sally was born 1957, in Wellington, New Zealand. She completed her study as an Occupational Therapist in 1980 and worked in New Zealand before heading overseas to work and travel in England. She worked in the fields of general medicine, geriatrics and head injury.Holidays were spent exploring Europe by bicycle with her new husband. Settling back in New Zealand she left work to raise two boisterous boys, now young adults. Though not in full time work during this time Sally has done many things, describing herself a butterfly by nature, flitting from one challenge to the next. She has completed a paper in botany, studied photography and completed a photojournalism course where her first article was published by a quality local magazine. For the last fourteen years she has worked as a head photographer for the largest school photography company in New Zealand . Sally is from a creative family, two of her siblings being professional artists. She loves her garden, reading, craft work, beach holidays and is a hopeless cafe dweller.
